Android is a smartphone OS for some, a great opportunity for developers and a booming business for HTC. The company announced a 160% increase and record breaking financial results with $501.2 million in net profit for 2010. HTC is planning on keep investing on Android and introducing new Android smartphones in 2011. Don’t be surprised if you see as many as 4 new HTC Android smartphones in WMC 2011 in a couple of weeks as HTC is aiming to sell 8.5 million new phones in the first quarter of 2011 with production doubling in the Shanghai factory. Maybe HTC and T-Mobile have something common in mind?
